About IIT Kharagpur

Set up in 1951, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, one of the premier technical institutions, is the oldest among the seven IITs in India. It is celebrating its Golden Jubilee from August 2001 to August 2002. In recent survey, IIT Kharagpur has been ranked first among all the technical institutions in India.
