Mr. Jaganando Ganguly (12 July 1946) is an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur. He has worked from 1968 – 1973 with Military Engineering Service (MES), Kanpur as Assistant Engineer – Project Construction and from 1973-1978 with M/s. IISCO as Assistant Engineer – Project Construction. Since 1978, he has been associated with Larsen & Toubro Limited – ECC Construction Group (12 years Project Construction and 12 years Project Management).

He started his construction career with MES and received a commendation letter from Lt.Gen. P S Bhagat, G.O.C-in-C Central Command. He was also involved in the Plant Rehabilitation Scheme in IISCO, Burnpur. He has led Construction Teams as Construction Manager for over 10 years in prestigious projects like “The Bahai’ House of Worship”, Long span steel-concrete composite Bridges in Malaysia.

He has been intimately involved in introducing Incremental Launching and Segmental Construction techniques in Bridge Building in India. Outstanding structures like the Panval Nadi Viaduct near Ratnagiri and Sirsi Flyover at Bangalore were built under his leadership. At present he heads the Transportation Projects Sector of L&T-ECC Division which is currently involved in the Construction Projects of the Golden Quadrilateral and has a turnover of above Rs.700 Crs per annum.

He is member of Indian Roads Congress, New Delhi and International Road Federation, Geneva. Also, he is member in Indian Roads Congress Committee on “Project preparation, Project Contracts & Management”
